Over the course of his fifteen year career Nenman Walbe has produced, shot, and edited hundreds of hours of creative content for nationally broadcast television from cooking shows to reality. He was an important member of Chef Emeril Lagasse’s television production staff and was instrumental in creating the Cooking Channel’s “Road Trip with G. Garvin” travel cooking show, which garnered G. Garvin a nomination at the 2013 James Beard Award for Outstanding Personality/Host. Nenman was influential in developing TV-One’s Reality docu-drama series, “Save My Son with Dr. Steve Perry,” which was nominated for 2013 NAACP Image Award: News/Information series and was a key contributor in the show “Living It Up with Patti Labelle.” Nenman has also stepped into the digital world, shooting, producing, and editing short-form programing.
Phakiso is a supervising producer/ director with over 12 years experience in television production. She has produced and coordinated on multiple projects with BET, MTV, TVOne, Vh1, FYI, OWN, and record breaking docu- series Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo. Continuing to create content that matters to her she now develops original programming meant to both entertain and uplift. Phakiso works within multiple formats from field to post production. Her vision is to use media and personal transformation to empower people to live OUTRAGEOUSLY in their fullest expression… and Live Life Juicy! As a Consulting Producer for the team and Co-Creator/ EP for Against The Grain, Phakiso is excited to bring her skill and passion together in collaboration with JLove & M1 productions.
Frank Antonio López (FRANKiE 4) is a hip hop artist, filmmaker and educator. He is a member of The Peace Poets– a NYC based hip hop group that blends music, poetry, and activism. He obtained his B.F.A. in Film & Television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and has taught video production with Tisch Special Programs in the Dominican Republic, Ireland, Singapore and Cuba. He recently worked with JLove & M1 Productions as director of photography and editor on the pilot episode of M1’s “The Message”. He has taught creative writing workshops for young people in schools and community centers throughout New York City as a means for youth empowerment, leadership development and art therapy. His mission is to rock the mic, celebrate his community and create spaces for critical thought, love and understanding through the arts and healing practices.
